Sushmita Sen returns to work after heart attack, dubs for her forthcoming web series ‘Taali’

Actor Sushmita Sen, who recently suffered a massive heart attack, has resumed work. She was spotted at a dubbing studio late Thursday night as she commenced dubbing for her forthcoming web series ‘Taali’, a biopic of transwoman Gauri Sawant. She happily posed for the paparazzi outside the studio.

Sushmita donned a navy-blue top and sky-blue pants, paired with white slippers and sunglasses.

Post her recovery from a heart attack, Sushmita also walked the ramp at a fashion week earlier this month. Post the event, when a photographer called Sushmita ‘strong’ for returning to work, Sushmita said, ‘Mere paas bohot saare logon ki dua hai, so blessed (I have many people's blessings with me).’

On March 2, Sushmita revealed on Instagram that she survived a heart attack and had undergone angioplasty. Sharing a throwback picture with her father, Sushmita wrote, ‘Keep your heart happy & courageous, and it’ll stand by you when you need it the most Shona” (Wise words by my father @sensubir). I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back…Angioplasty done…stent in place…and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart’. Lots of people to thank for their timely aid & constructive action…will do so in another post! This post is just to keep you (my well wishers & loved ones) informed of the good news …that all is well & I am ready for some life again!!!’

Besides ‘Taali’, Sushmita Sen is currently working on the upcoming season of her hit web series, ‘Aarya’.
