Sonam Kapoor & Anand Ahuja blessed with a baby boy; Kareena Kapoor Khan & others congratulate new parents

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja have been blessed with a baby boy on Saturday. The couple took to social media to share the news and ever since, the comments section has been pouring in with congratulatory messages.

Neetu Kapoor was the first one to congratulate Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor. She shared the statement released by the new parents on her Instagram stories. Director-choreographer Farah Khan followed the lead and wished her dear friends.

Kareena Kapoor Khan shared an adorable picture of the lovely parents and extended her best wishes to them.

Sonam’s best friend, Swara Bhasker, re-shared the actor’s statement on Instagram to congratulate her and said it is ‘best news ever’.

Bhumi Pednekar, Amrita Arora, Masaba Gupta and Mira Kapoor are among the other celebrities who have congratulated the new parents.

Grandparents, Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor, and sister Rhea Kapoor have also posted a statement announcing the arrival of the new member. ‘We are delighted to announce, on the 20th of August 2022, the arrival of the newest member of our family. Sonam and Anand have been blessed with a healthy baby boy and we couldn’t be more elated. Our hearts are bursting with pride and love for the new parents and the beautiful angel.’
