Sonakshi Sinha-Zaheer Iqbal look head over heels in love in their reception pics; check out romantic post

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have shared the first pictures from their reception on Instagram. The couple tied the knot on June 23 under the Civil Marriage Act at Sonakshi's home in Bandra and held a reception for their industry friendsW and colleagues at a posh restaurant in Mumbai the same day.

The loved-up pictures have Sonakshi and Zaheer striking some romantic poses, looking absolutely smitten by each other. Sharing the post, the couple captioned, "Whattttt a day!!!! The love, the laughter, the togetherness, the excitement, the warmth, the support from every one of our friends, families and teams… it was like the universe came together for two people in love to give them exactly what they’ve always hoped, wished and prayed for. If this is not divine intervention… we dont know what is. We are both truly blessed to have each other and so much love protecting us."

Couple's reception look

For the reception, the 'Heeramandi' actor wore a bright red Varanasi silk brocade sari by Raw Mango. Her look was complete with a custom-made choker set from Karan Johar’s Tyaani Fine Jewellery and a tall stack of red bangles. As for Zaheer, the 'Notebook' actor made a splash in an off-white open sherwani over a white kurta set, paired with brown leather shoes.

'We are now man and wife'

Sonakshi and Zaheer had earlier shared pictures from their civil marriage ceremony. They captioned, "On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each other's eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever."
