Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's wedding invite leaked; confirms 7-year relationship

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are reportedly set to make it official later this month. A Redditor leaked an audio invite featuring the couple confirming their marriage, expressing readiness to become each other's 'definite and official husband and wife.'

The post includes a title card featuring Sonakshi and Zaheer's picture, with a QR code that contains a message from both of them to their well-wishers.

Sonakshi greets, ‘To all our hip, tech-savvy, and jasoos (detective) friends and family who have managed to land on this page, hi!’ Zaheer adds, ‘For the last seven years that we have been together, all the joy, love, laughter, and many, many adventures have led us to this moment.’

‘The moment where we go from being each other’s rumoured girlfriend and boyfriend,’ says Sonakshi. Then Zaheer adds, ‘To being each other’s definite and official husband and wife.’

The invite ends with the note, ‘Finally! This celebration will not be complete without you so drop whatever you’re doing on the 23rd of June and come party with us.’

According to the leaked invite, the party will be held at Shilpa Shetty's restaurant, Bastian, in Mumbai. The dress code for the evening is formal and festive, with the card also stating, ‘the rumours were true.’

Netizens are super excited about Sonakshi’s wedding with Zaheer. One user wrote on Reddit, ‘This is so cute!! Congratulations to them!!’ Another one shared, ‘Sonakshi is so beautiful, I can’t wait to see her outfits.’

A recent report from Zoom suggests that Sonakshi and Zaheer will have a registered marriage, followed by a reception party on June 23. Sonakshi's friend told Zoom, ‘I have received an invitation to celebrate with the couple on the evening of June 23, but there's no mention of an actual wedding. From what I know, they have already had a registered marriage or may do so on the morning of June 23. But there won't be any elaborate wedding, just a party.’

Meanwhile, according to News18 Showsha, the wedding party will include some of the biggest names from Bollywood. A well-placed source said, ‘Apart from the Sinhas and the Ratansis, the ceremony will see many of Sonakshi and Zaheer's close friends and peers. The lovebirds have invited Aayush Sharma, Huma Qureshi, and Varun Sharma, all of whom they share a deep friendship with.’
