Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal celebrate bachelorette party ahead of their wedding; pics go viral

Sonakshi Sinha has been making headlines since the news of her wedding with rumoured boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal spread rapidly. The couple is expected to get married at a private event in Mumbai on June 23, but they have yet to comment on it.

Days before her special day, the ‘Dabangg’ actor enjoyed a girls' night out with her bestie Huma Qureshi and other friends. The soon-to-be bride shared glimpses of the lively party on her Instagram stories. In the selfie, Sonakshi looked gorgeous with kohl-rimmed eyes, nude lips, and hair tied in a bun. She penned the date '17.06.2024' on it.

Meanwhile, Zaheer was seen partying with his close friend and actor Saqib Saleem, along with other friends. He gave an inside glimpse of the bash by reposting a group photo from one of his friends’ Instagram accounts. The caption accompanying the photo read, ‘let's go!’

Meanwhile, Pahlaj Nihalani, who refers to himself as Sonakshi’s ‘mama’, claimed that Shatrughan Sinha is upset with the actor for not informing him about her wedding plans. In his initial reaction to the wedding rumours, Shatrughan admitted that he was unaware of the wedding.

Speaking with Times Now, Pahlaj said ‘Ha (he is upset), but he can’t remain upset for long, not with Sonakshi. She is his laadli. Shaadi nahin attend karne ka koi sawaal hi nahi paida hota. As Shatruji said to you, aaj kal he bachche inform karte hain, permission nahin lete. Why should he be upset if Sonakshi is marrying the boy of her choice? Shatruji himself married a girl of his choice forty years ago. Even I chose my own life partner when I married my wife. One should not have unrealistic expectations from one’s children.’

For the unversed, Shatrughan had told Times Now that he had no clue about Sonakshi’s wedding and added, ‘I am being asked by people close to me why I am not aware of this (the supposed wedding), and the media is aware of it. All I can say is, aaj kal ke bachche consent nahin lete maa-baap ke, sirf inform karte hain. We are waiting to be informed.’
