‘Singham’ Ajay Devgn injures eye; temporary shoot halt for Rohit Shetty’s film

It seems like Rohit Shetty’s cop universe will have to wait a little. Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Singham Again’ is under the works. The shooting was happening in Mumbai, but the shoot has currently been halted after the star of the film Ajay got injured in eye.

Ajay Devgn is known for doing a lot of his stunts on his own. During one such action sequence, Ajay Devgn reportedly received an eye injury. Directed by ‘Khatron ke Khiladi’ Rohit Shetty, the shooting of ‘Singham 3’ had begun with much filmfare but the injury has put a temporary halt.

As per the reports, ‘Singham’ is yet to recover from the injury. The shooting will now resume in 2024 as the Mumbai shoot is cancelled for this month. A significant other part will also be shot in Hyderabad. Raising the curiosity among fans, Ajay Devgn had shared the first look poster of the film on Instagram last month.

The film is scheduled to release on the Independence Day next year. The third film of the ‘Singham’ franchise also has Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and even Deepika Padukone in a cameo role. The earlier two films of the franchise have seen super success at the box office, establishing Ajay Devgn as the ‘Singham’.

Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty had earlier teamed up for superhit ‘Golmaal’ series, Bol Bachchan & few more films. Fans are looking forward to the latest collaboration between the two in this latest addition to Shetty’s cop-verse. The duo recently appeared together in an episode of ‘Koffee with Karan’ where they spoke about their 20 years of friendship, films and shared some personal anecdotes as well.
