'Singham Again' stars Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn to light up Delhi’s Lav Kush Ramleela with Ravan Dahan!

Bollywood fever is set to take over Delhi’s Ram Leela! ‘Singham Again’ stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, and director Rohit Shetty are heading to the capital to light up the Ravan Dahan at Lav Kush Ram Leela.

Arjun Kumar, President of the Lav Kush Ramlila Committee at Red Fort, Delhi, says they’ve rolled out the red carpet for the film’s crew to join in the festive fun, celebrating their contribution to spreading Indian culture.

The star-studded Ravan Dahan will take place on Dussehra, October 12, at Delhi's iconic Red Fort, where this grand event has been a tradition for 50 years!

‘To mark the victory of good over evil, this time at the Lav Kush Ramleela we invited Singham Again director Rohit Shetty and its stars Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor. They have accepted our invitation and will perform the Ravan Dahan at the event on October 12,’ said Arjun Singh, president of Lav Kush Ramleela Committee of Delhi, in a statement.

Talking to Hindustan Times, he confirmed, ‘Ajay, Kareena and Rohit have responded to our invitation and confirmed their presence for the Ravan Dahan. They all are looking forward to joining us for the celebration, and we are going all out to make it big for them. We have promised them a huge celebration here, and we will make it happen’.

Ajay Devgn last graced the Ravan Dahan stage at the Ramleela in 2016.

The star-studded Singham Again features Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham, Ranveer Singh as Simba, Akshay Kumar as DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, Kareena Kapoor as Avni, and Deepika Padukone as Shakti Shetty. Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, Ravi Kishan, and Shweta Tiwari complete the cast.

This marks the third installment of the blockbuster Singham franchise, following the 2011 release of Singham with Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj, and Singham Returns in 2014. Both films were massive box office hits.

In Singham Again, Rohit Shetty has added his unique spin on the Ramayana for the cop drama. Arjun Kapoor describes the movie as a ‘modern-day interpretation of the Ramayana,’ with his character taking on a Ravan-like role as the antagonist.

The film is set to release on Diwali, clashing with Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on November 1.
