Sidharth Shukla's first death anniversary: Mother, sisters attend prayer meet with Brahma Kumari

It’s been a year since actor Sidharth Shukla’s death. He is still fondly remembered by not just his family but also by his fans and friends from the industry. His mother Rita Shukla, and his sisters, held a prayer meet with the Brahma Kumaris on his death anniversary. Sidharth was known to be a follower of Brahma Kumaris and he would often attend their meetings along with his mother.

A fan account has shared several pictures from the prayer meet on social media.

Sidharth died after suffering cardiac arrest at the age of 40.

Sidharth Shukla was the runner-up in Gladrags Manhunt and Mega Model contest in 2004. He then went on to feature in music videos and started working in advertisements. He made his acting debut in 2008 with the TV show ‘Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na’.

Sidharth later appeared in the popular show ‘Balika Vadhu’.

He made his Bollywood debut with ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, co-starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. He also appeared in reality shows ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 7’ in 2015 and won the show. After this, he participated in ‘Bigg Boss 13’ and won the show.
