'Shiv Shastri Balboa': Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta are 'on an unexpected road trip'

The trailer of 'Shiv Shastri Balboa', starring Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta, has been unveiled. The video opens with the narrator introducing Anupam's character Shiv Shankar Shastri who has trained many boxers. He traveled to the US to meet his son, played by Jugal Hansraj, and his family. However, he is disappointed after he learns that his grandkids have no clue about the iconic film 'Rocky', which he felt is a philosophy.

He then meets Neena Gupta's character who wishes to travel to India as she hasn't been home in eight years. Shiv decides to help her and they take a trip during which Neena loses her passport and other belongings. The drama then begins.

Anupam Kher shared the trailer on his official YouTube channel and it has been captioned,' Presenting the Official Trailer of Shiv Shastri Balboa! Shiv Shastri, a retiree from India and a big fan of the movie Rocky, moves to the USA and ends up on an unexpected road trip through the American heartland which teaches that it's never too old to reinvent yourself.'

Directed by Ajay Venugopalan, the film releases in theatres on February 10. The film also stars Jugal Hansraj, Sharib Hashmi, and Nargis Fakhri.
