Shatrughan Sinha hospitalised days after Sonakshi-Zaheer's wedding, details inside

Veteran Bollywood actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha has been admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai, his son Luv Sinha confirmed. The actor was hospitalised after a viral fever, he said. Sinha’s hospitalisation comes days after his daughter Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding with Zaheer Iqbal. Recently, the newlyweds had paid him a visit to the hospital.

Days after speculations were rife that Shatrughan Sinha had been hospitalised, his son Luv Sinha confirmed the reports. Speaking to Indian Express, Luv said, “Dad had viral fever and weakness the last couple of days so we decided to admit him to the hospital.”

Luv also took to his Instagram account on Sunday to address the talk about him giving a miss to his sister Sonakshi’s wedding. He wrote,“Why I chose not to attend. Running an online campaign against me on a false premise won’t change the fact that for me my family will always come first.”

A day after Sonakshi and Zaheer's nuptials in Mumbai, Shaturghan Sinha took to X to pour his heart out in an emotional post. He wrote, “With an attitude of gratitude we would like to thank everyone for celebrating with us on our special day seems to be the 'wedding of the century' with your warmth, love, and congratulatory messages for our darling daughter #SonakshiSinha with #ZaheerIqbal as they start a new chapter in their beautiful journey of their lives.”
