Shah Rukh Khan shares why he went bald in ‘Jawan’: ‘This is the first and last time where I've gone bald’

Shah Rukh Khan, who is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming film ‘Jawan’ on September 7, flew to Dubai to unveil the trailer of the action thriller at the iconic skyscraper of Dubai, the Burj Khalifa.

At the launch event, the actor spoke about playing more than 5 different characters in the film and also shared why went bald.

He said, ‘I have been bald also, and that is something I have never, ever going to be in my life. This is the first and last time where I've gone bald. Abhi aap logon ke liye main ganja bhi ho gaya hoon. Toh issi ki izzat ke liye chale jana. Kya pata mauka mile na mile mujhe dobarara ganja dekhne ka. (I went bald for you people. So, to honor this, please go and watch the film. Who knows if you will get another chance to see me bald.)’

At the event, the anchor also informed SRK that a fan and his family booked an entire restaurant in Burj Khalifa to meet him and witness the ‘Jawan’ trailer launch event. King Khan, who was moved by the fan's gesture, replied, ‘Keep the dinner ready... I'm coming there.’

He added, ‘And some wet towels. I need to wash myself, please... It's very hot in this red jacket like I've told everyone today. Thank you so much everyone, God bless you.’

‘Jawan’, directed by Atlee, will release in theatres worldwide on September 7.
