Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone's first look from song ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ out amid ‘Besharam Rang’ row

‘Pathaan’ continues to face massive backlash over its first song ‘Besharam Rang’, but the makers continue to remain upbeat. Yash Raj Films is all set to release the second song of the film titled ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ and the first look of the song featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone was unveiled on Tuesday.

Shah Rukh Khan looks dapper with his hair tied up, donning a white shirt and Deepika Padukone can be seen in a brown outfit with silver boots. The duo is posing in front of a yellow vintage car.

The song is scheduled for a release on December 22.

Talking about the release of the song, director Siddharth Anand said, ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan is an ode to the spirit of Pathaan, played by the inimitable Shah Rukh Khan. The song embodies the personality traits of this super spy Pathaan who has irresistible swagger that is infectious. His energy, his vibe, his confidence can make anyone dance to tunes.’

He further added, ‘The song is modern fusion Qawwali and is a celebration of Pathaan’s style and panache. It has been a while since we have seen SRK groove to music and we are hoping that people will love seeing their favourite superstar shake a leg with an attitude to kill for. Deepika is again looking a million bucks. Their combination is electrifying on screen and this song is a treat for everyone across the world who love SRK and Deepika as their favourite on-screen pair.’

‘Pathaan’ is expected to be the biggest ever action spectacle of the country. The Siddharth Anand directorial is set to release on January 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu language.
