'Shabaash Mithu:' Taapsee Pannu tells you the story of a woman who redefined 'The Gentleman's game'

The trailer of 'Shabaash Mithu,' starring Taapsee Pannu as Mithali Raj, has finally been unveiled. From being an aspiring cricketer to redefining 'the gentleman's game,' the trailer presents snippets from Mithali's journey.

It shows how Mithali's coach identifies her love for cricket and encourages her to harness her skills. After intense training, Mithali finds a place in the national and international team. She is also named as the captain of the Women’s Indian Cricket Team. 'If you can change the way you think, you can change the game,' this message has been highlighted in the trailer.

Taapsee Pannu, who is known for her power-packed performances, looks compelling in the role of the icon cricketer.

Mithali Raj recently retired from the game of cricket. She is known for her record breaking 23 year long career in international cricket and for scoring over 10000 runs in ODI.

The biographical sports drama has been directed by Srijit Mukherji and produced by Viacom18 Studios. It will release in theatres on July 15.
