‘Selfiee’ trailer: 'Superstar' Akshay Kumar’s face off with his 'biggest fan' Emraan Hashmi. Watch

The trailer of Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi’s forthcoming film ‘Selfiee’ has been unveiled. Akshay features as a 'superstar', while Emraan Hashmi, a police officer, is his 'biggest fan'.

he trailer shows how Emraan and his son wish to click a selfie with their 'hero'. He even warns his wife, played by Nushrratt Bharucha, that if she speaks against the actor he’ll file for a divorce.

Things take an unexpected turn as the superstar and his fan challenge each other over the former’s driving license. Akshay says he will get the license anyhow, but Emraan says he will have to get the document just like a 'common man'.

At the end of the video, Akshay and Emraan are seen in a disco in shimmery outfits as the song ‘Main Khiladi Tu Anari’ plays in the background. Nushrratt and Diana Penty are also part of the song. The original track is from the 1994 movie of the same name that featured Akshay with Saif Ali Khan.

‘Selfiee’ is a remake of the 2019 Malayalam-language comedy-drama ‘Driving Licence’. The film is all set to hit the theatres on February 24.
