Seema Khan reverts to maiden name 'Seema Kiran Sajdeh' on Instagram

Fashion designer Seema Khan has changed her name on her Instagram handle after filing for divorce with actor and filmmaker Sohail Khan. Her Instagram account now reads- Seema Kiran Sajdeh, her maiden name.

The couple filed for divorce after 24 years of marriage on May 13th. They were spotted by the paparazzi outside a family court in Bandra, Mumbai. A source told India Today, “The decision was taken at the last minute and no one was informed. They both decided to keep the decision private and file for a divorce. They have been living separately for the past few years.”

Seema and Sohail got married in 1998 and are parents to two children - Nirvaan and Yohan. They were reportedly living separately since 2017.

Seema was one of the stars of Karan Johar’s Netflix show ‘The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives.’ “It's just that sometimes when you grow older, your relationship meander and goes into different directions. I make no apologies about it because we are happy and my kids are happy. Sohail and I are not a conventional marriage but we are a family. We are a unit. For us, him and me and our children matter at the end of the day," she said on the show.
