Satish Kaushik dies: 'He suffered a heart attack around 1 am', says Anupam Kher

Veteran actor-comedian Satish Kaushik passed away following a heart attack. His close friend, actor Anupam Kher shared the news on social media along with a picture of them. He wrote, 'I know that death is the ultimate truth but never in my dreams, I thought that I would have to write that about my best friend Satish Kaushik. A sudden full stop to 45 years of friendship. Life will never be the same without you Satish! Om Shanti.'

Speaking with news agency PTI, Anupam said that Satish felt uneasy and he asked the driver to take him to the hospital, and on the way, he suffered a heart attack around 1 am.

As per news agency ANI, Satish's post-mortem will be done at Deen Dayal Hospital in Delhi on Thursday. According to a Hindustan Times report, the actor’s body was bought to the hospital at 5.30 am and has been kept in the mortuary. It will be brought to Mumbai later in the day.
