Sara Ali Khan wishes mom Amrita Singh on her birthday: ‘Thank you for always being my rock’

Actor Sara Ali Khan took to social media to wish her mother, actor Amrita Singh on her birthday. Sara shared pictures from their holiday and tagged the location of her post as ‘My Safe Place’.

She called her mother her rock, her cushion, her moral compass, her mirror and her aspiration.
She wrote, ‘Happiest Birthday to my whole world. Thank you for always being my rock (sometimes by cushion), my moral compass, my mirror (pun intended) and my aspiration. #strength #inspiration #purpose #number1.’

Sara Ali Khan often travels with her mom Amrita Singh. In an earlier interview with The Times of India, Sara opened up about growing up with a single mother and said, ‘Living with a single mother in today’s day and age makes you a little tougher and harder than you need to be. You don’t live in a La La Land for too long then. You see the world for what it is.’

Sara is the daughter of actors Amrita and Saif Ali Khan, who divorced in 2004 when she was just 9 years old. She also has a brother Ibrahim Ali Khan.

Sara Ali Khan last featured in the 2021 film ‘Atrangi Re’. This year, she is will be seen in Laxman Utekar’s next opposite Vicky Kaushal. She also recently announced her upcoming project, Prime Video’s ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’, directed by Kannan Iyer.
