'Samrat Prithviraj’ Twitter Review: Here's what the netizens have to say about the Akshay Kumar starrer

'Samrat Prithviraj,' starring Akshay Kumar and former beauty queen Manushi Chillar, is finally out in theatres and the film's first reviews are in. Fans took to Twitter to laud the actors and director Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi for their outstanding work.

The film, based on the life and bravery of mighty King Prithviraj Chauhan, also stars Sonu Sood, Sanjay Dutt, Manav Vij, Ashutosh Rana and Sakshi Tanwar in pivotal roles. It has been declared tax free in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

Akshay Kumar fans have praised the actor for his 'mind-blowing' performance in the film. One Twitter user called the movie a 'blockbuster' and said the climax was 'one of the best ever.' Another user wrote that the film is different from all other historical dramas like 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Jodha Akbar.' calling this movie 'our history,' he added that Akshay has 'lived the character.'

One of the reactions said that there was no 'dullness in the screenplay' and the drama keeps you hooked. The jodi of Akshay-Manushi is being highly appreciated.

Another user wrote that there is 'no better director' than Dwivedi and the film is 'mammoth visual spectacle.'

Ahead of the film's release, a special screening of the film was held for Home Minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath.
