'Samrat Prithviraj' Box Office Collection Day 6: Akshay Kumar-starrer film continues its downward trend

The big-budget period drama, starring Akshay Kumar and former beauty queen Manushi Chillar, is struggling to survive at the box office. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film's trending is extremely weak and there is zero hope for it to cover lost ground. 'Samrat Prithviraj' grossed ₹4.25 crore on Day 6, bringing in a total collection of ₹48.65 crore. The film earned ₹ 39.40 cr in its opening weekend.

Chandraprakash Dwivedi directorial, which is based on the life of Rajput emperor Prithviraj Chauhan, received mixed reviews at the theatres.
As per reports, most of the morning shows of the film are being cancelled due to low occupancy.

'Samrat Prithviraj' has been declared tax-free in Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

The film also stars Sonu Sood, Sanjay Dutt, Manav Vij, Ashutosh Rana and Sakshi Tanwar in pivotal roles.
