Samantha Ruth Prabhu gets warm welcome on sets of ‘Kushi’, resume shoot after months

Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu has resumed the shoot of her upcoming Telugu film ‘Kushi’ after several months. She took a break from work after being diagnosed with a muscle-related ailment called Myositis. She received a warm welcome on the sets with a cake.

The pictures of the cake-cutting ceremony are going viral on social media. Director Shiva Nirvana shared the photos on Twitter and called Samantha a ‘fighter’. He wrote, ‘The Fighter @Samanthaprabhu2 is back to #Kushi sets @TheDeverakonda @MythriOfficial @HeshamAWMusic musical. Everything is going to be beautiful.’

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda are collaborating for the second time. Earlier, they worked together in the film ‘Mahanati’.

Samantha recently wrapped up a schedule of ‘Citadel’ and shared pictures with Varun, Raj, and DK from the flight. ‘Citadel’ is the Indian version of the American series of the same name, which stars Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra in pivotal roles.

On the work front, Samantha is also awaiting the release of her upcoming film ‘Shaakuntalam’, directed by Gunashekaran. The film will release in theatres on April 14.
