‘Sam Bahadur’ teaser: Sam Manekshaw biopic, starring Vicky Kaushal, gets a release date

The first teaser of Meghna Gulzar's upcoming film, 'Sam Bahadur', starring Vicky Kaushal as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, has been unveiled. The film will hit theatres on December 1, 2023. Sanya Malhotra stars as Manekshaw’s wife Silloo and Fatima Sana Shaikh as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

The video shows a battalion of army officers parting to make way for Sam Bahadur.

Sam Manekshaw’s military career spanned over four decades. He was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War that led to the creation of Bangladesh, and the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal.

‘Sam Bahadur’ is being directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala.

Currently, Vicky Kaushal is gearing up for the release of Shashank Kaitan’s ‘Govinda Naam Mera’. He also has Laxman Utekar’s film with Sara Ali Khan in the pipeline.
