'Sam Bahadur' Day1: Film debuts with ₹5.50 Crore, Vicky Kaushal's performance garners acclaim

The film registered an overall occupancy of 29.18% for its Hindi version on Friday, alongside the release of 'Animal' on December 1.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared specific figures, revealing that at national chains, 'Sam Bahadur' earned ₹2.80 crore at PVRInox and ₹60 lakhs at Cinepolis, summing up to ₹3.40 crore by 7 pm on its opening day.

'Sam Bahadur' delves into the life of the first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, featuring Vicky Kaushal in the titular role, Sanya Malhotra as his wife, and Fatima Sana Shaikh portraying former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Despite mixed critical reviews, audiences on X users' platform have shown significant appreciation for Vicky Kaushal's performance, with many praising his portrayal of Manekshaw.
