Salman Khan shares Mother Teresa artwork from his first-ever solo show

We all know that, besides being a versatile actor, Salman Khan is an accomplished artist as well. The 'Ek Tha Tiger' actor is all set to showcase his art in a first-ever solo exhibition in Bengaluru. The actor's latest art series is titled 'Motherhood - An Artistic Ode to Mother Teresa'.

Three paintings (which includes two new large-size works created by Salman) will be on display at Bengaluru's gallery from March 11 till 20. Readers may recall that Salman Khan’s artworks went live online on ‘Google Arts & Culture’ (GAC) on March 4. One can find two of his paintings viz., ‘Still In Hope of Compassion’ and ‘Begging for Peace’ on display on the GAC digital platform.

On the occasion of Women's Day yesterday, Salman Khan shared a video clip from his art gallery on social media. In the video, Salman could be seen giving a finishing touch to the Mother Teresa painting. He captioned the clip “Do whatever u want to do but don’t trouble your mother … happy women’s day! View my art at the link in bio.”

In no time, Salman Khan's fans heaped praises for the talented actor on his social media post. Salman Khan, who happens to be a self-taught artist, began painting years before he made a mark in Bollywood. He now spends much of his time focussing on his art, creating large-format works on canvas. By now, everyone knows that Salman Khan is hugely inspired by Mother Teresa and her selfless humanitarian works. This inspiration gets mirrored almost every time in his paintings.

On the work front, the actor will soon be seen in 'Tiger 3' alongside Katrina Kaif. The much-awaited film will be out on 21 April 2023.
