Salman Khan's 'Tiger' to return on Diwali next year

Salman Khan and Katrina kaif starrer 'Tiger 3' is going to release on Diwali, 2023. The lead actors took to Instagram and shared the first look poster and announced the release date of the much-awaited third film in the 'Tiger' franchise. The film was earlier scheduled to release on April 21 next year but it got delayed.

The poster, which features Salman Khan's half-covered face, has been captioned, 'Tiger has a new date... Diwali 2023 it is! Celebrate Tiger 3 with YRF 50 only at a big screen near you. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.'

The film is directed by Maneesh Sharma, who previously helmed Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Fan' and 'Band Baaja Baaraat'. The earlier parts of the franchise, 'Ek Tha Tiger' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai' were directed by Kabir Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar respectively.

According to some reports, Shah Rukh Khan will have a cameo in the film and will reprise his role from 'Pathaan' as they both have the shared 'Spy Universe' created by Yash Raj Films. 'Pathaan' is scheduled to release on January 25, 2023.
