'Salaam Venky' Premiere: Aamir Khan, Harshaali Malhotra and others attend the event

Kajol and Vishal Jethwa starrer 'Salaam Venky' had a star-studded premiere on Wedsnesday. Esha Deol, Sharad Kelkar Vatsal Sheth, Ishita Dutta, Aahana Kumra, Madhoo, cricketer Yuvraj Singh, Aamir Khan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan star Harshali Malhotra attended the party.

The party’s pictures and videos are going viral. Aamir Khan’s all-grey outfit was really liked by fans. The actor wore a denim jacket with a matching pair of jeans to go with it. Netizens also showered love in comments when Harshali’s pictures were shared online by the paparazzi. She wore an ivory-coloured sweater dress with brown fur boots for the party.

‘Salaam Venky’ is based on true story of a Duchenne muscular dystrophy patient whose mother tries everything to make her son live life to the fullest. Talking about his character in the film, Vishal said, ‘normally such patients survive for 16-17 years but Venkatesh is an exceptional case. Thanks to his will power and positive mindset, he lives for 25 years.’

The film is directed by Revathy and is all set to hit the theatres on December 9.
