Saif Ali Khan reveals why he is not on social media: ‘You have to praise people’

‘Vikram Vedha’ actors Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte recently visited the sets of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ for the promotion of their film. In the fun-filled episode, the actors joked around and made some interesting revelations. Kapil asked Saif about his absence from social media, and he mentioned that one needs to keep lying and praising others if they are on Instagram.

Kapil told Saif that he has not seen any account of his, though there are many fake accounts under the actor's name. Saif replied that he tried joining, but he couldn’t find an ID. 'My name is Saif Ali Khan, and I tried joining, but there’s already names under that handle…' he said.

Kapil then said that it was a good thing that he wasn’t on social media as there is ‘too much tension’. To this, Saif replied, 'I feel the same. You’ve to lie a lot.' Radhika interrupted and added, 'He can’t lie at all, that is his best quality.' Saif continued, 'No, no, I do lie. But you can get stuck on social media, whether you have to praise this person or that one, I am happy as I am. 'Kapil also asked Saif why Hrithik didn't join the team. In a witty response, Saif said that the producers wanted them to divide their energy.

'Vikram Vedha' released in theatres on September 30. It received a positive response from the audience, but it failed to make an impact at the box office.
