'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' premiere: Jaya Bachchan upset with paps; scolds them for screaming

Veteran actor Jaya Bachchan, who plays a pivotal role in Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', attended the film's screening in Mumbai on July 25.

As she arrived for the event, photographers started to call out her name to capture her picture; irked by their behaviour Jaya schooled them.

'I am not deaf, chillao mat. Aaram se,' she said.

Jaya opted to skip the red carpet but was seen waiting for her children to join her. She was soon joined by Shweta and Abhishek and the trio made their way to the screening.

Jaya Bachchan rarely poses for photographs and often expresses her disapproval of the paparazzi behaviour.

In the newly released song, 'Dhindhora Baje Re', Jaya appears to be a decision-maker from Ranveer’s side of the family and disapproves of his relationship with Alia.

Jaya will be seen sharing the screen with Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi.

'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' marks her comeback to the big screen after a long break. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on July 28.
