'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani': Ananya Panday confirms cameo, posts pic with Karan, Ranveer Singh

Actor Ananya Panday has confirmed her cameo in Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'.

On Ranveer's birthday, she shared a pic with the actor and filmmaker Karan Johar in which she's seen wearing the same outfit that some eagle-eyed fans spotted in 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' trailer.

Ananya Panday appeared at 2:29 time stamp in the trailer. She was seen dancing alongside Ranveer.

Sharing the post, Ananya wrote, 'Happy birthday Ran Ran aka Rocky wish you the best best best always.'

Besides Ananya, Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan are also likely to make a cameo in the film.

Karan Johar addressed the rumours of Shah Rukh in his film during a live session on Instagram. When a fan asked if SRK would be seen in the film, Karan said, 'No, he is not (in the film) but his love and blessings are always with me. He is family to me and he was the first person to put out the first unit of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.'

Shah Rukh made a special appearance in Karan's last directorial, 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', which starred Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai.

'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' marks Karan Johar's return as a director after seven years.

It also marks Ranveer and Alia reunion on screen after the success of 'Gully Boy'.

The film, which also stars Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra, is set to release on July 28.
