In 'Kalki 2898 AD,' Amitabh starred alongside Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, and Kamal Haasan. Film, released in June, has quickly become one of the year's biggest hits.

Amitabh Bachchan's portrayal of Ashwatthama garnered praise, with the actor humorously recalling his initial reaction during the film's pre-release press conference, 'When Nag Ashwin came and explained his idea to me, for the long time after he left I was thinking, ‘what the hell is Nagi drinking?'.
