Actor Rashmika Mandanna made her first public appearance after her viral deepfake video made headlines. She visited the sets of ‘Unstoppable With NBK’ to promote her upcoming Hindi film, ‘Animal’.

Rashmika was joined by her co-star Ranbir Kapoor.

In photos shared by Aha on X, previously known as Twitter, Rashmika was seen sporting a big smile as she posed for the cameras.

She also taught Ranbir the finger heart sign, popular among K-drama and K-pop fans, as they posed for the cameras.

The duo was joined by ‘Animal’ director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Sharing the photos, Aha wrote, ‘Idi sample mathrame. asalu sisalu show abhi baaki hei mere dosth!Get ready for wildest entertainment Feast with team.’

For the occasion, Rashmika wore a black saree, while Ranbir wore a checkered shirt with matching pants.

A few days ago, Rashmika made headlines after a morphed video of the actor went viral on social media, with her face placed on a different woman’s body.

Amitabh Bachchan flagged the issue and demanded legal action. Soon after, Rashmila issued a statement condemning the act.

In a statement, Rashmika said, ‘I feel really hurt to share this and have to talk about the deepfake video of me being spread online. Something like this is honestly, extremely scary not only for me, but also for each one of us who today is vulnerable to so much harm because of how technology is being misused.’

‘Today, as a woman and as an actor, I am thankful for my family, friends and well wishers who are my protection and support system. But if this happened to me when I was in school or college, I genuinely can’t imagine how could I ever tackle this. We need to address this as a community and with urgency before more of us are affected by such identity theft,’ she added.
