Ranbir Kapoor is ‘very dependent’ on Alia Bhatt, says ‘she should just sit next to me’

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are enjoying the success of their recently released film ‘Brahmastra’, which marks their first on-screen collaboration. The couple has constantly been promoting the movie and in a recent interview, Ranbir confessed about the bond he shares with Alia. The actor said he is extremely attached to her and doesn’t do anything without knowing where she is.

In the Ayan Mukerji directorial, Isha, the character played by Alia, metions that Shiva, Ranbir’s character, is ‘incomplete’ without her.

When asked if the ‘Brahmastra’ actors were dependent on each other in real life too. Ranbir replied, 'I boast a lot that I am very independent and detached, but in reality I am very dependent on her. I don’t go to the bathroom or eat if I don’t know where Alia is. It is very important for me to have her next to me. It doesn’t matter if we don’t do anything romantic or even talk but she should just sit next to me.'

Alia Bhatt agreed with him and shared that Ranbir is dependent on her completely and this worries her. She said, 'If I am not around, Ranbir leaves everything for the last minute.'

The ‘Highway’ actor also mentioned, ‘In any relationship, after a while, there comes a time when you complete each other. I think the best part about our relationship is that separately we are okay, but together, we are better.’

Ranbir and Alia got married on April 14, 2022. The couple is expecting their first baby together.
