Ram Charan and ‘RRR’ team receive a standing ovation from the audience at the special screening in US

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘RRR’, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, was re-released in the US on March 1. Taking to social media, Ram Charan shared a few glimpses from the special screening and mentioned that the film received a standing ovation. He further expressed his happiness over the audience’s overwhelming response and wrote that the moment will forever be etched in his memory.

He shared a picture of the ‘RRR’ team addressing the audience after the special screening at Ace Hotel, and also clicked a selfie with his fans. He captioned his post, ‘What an overwhelmingly happy response to screening of #RRR at the Ace Hotel!Receiving a standing ovation from you all will be etched in my memory forever!! Thank you all so much.’

‘RRR’ was released at the world’s largest theatre in the US ahead of the Oscars and it received a tremendous response. The entire team of ‘RRR’ attended the special screening and they were welcomed with a standing ovation, cheers, and applause. Over 1,600 tickets were sold and many people stood in long queues to watch the period drama on the big screen.

Ram Charan has been rigorously promoting ‘RRR’ in the US. He appeared on popular Hollywood shows like ‘Good Morning America’ and the talk show on KLTA Entertainment.

‘RRR’s song ‘Naatu Naatu’ has earned an Oscar nomination in the Best Original Song Category. The 95th Academy Awards are scheduled to be held on March 13 (India time).
