Rakul Preet Singh's brother Aman arrested in drugs case: Details about his business and lifestyle

Hyderabad Police arrested Aman Preet Singh, the brother of actor Rakul Preet Singh, in connection with a drug case on July 15. Aman tested positive for cocaine consumption and will be presented before a court soon. This incident has sparked public interest in Aman's life.

Like his sister Rakul, Aman Preet Singh is an actor, appearing in films such as ‘Ninnepelladata’ (2020) and ‘Production No. 1’ (2020). While he predominantly worked in the Telugu film industry, he made his Bollywood debut with the 2020 film ‘Ramrajya’.

Additionally, Aman and Rakul co-own a talent discovery platform called Starring You, which connects aspiring talents with content distributors, owners, and producers.

Coming from a well-off family, Aman frequently shares his travel and adventures on Instagram. He is also rumoured to be dating actress Seerat Kapoor, as they are occasionally seen looking cozy in photos, though neither has confirmed or denied these speculations.

Why was Rakul Preet Singh’s brother arrested?

Aman Preet Singh was arrested following a joint operation by the Narcotics Bureau and Rajendra Nagar SOT Police, under the jurisdiction of Cyberabad Police. The Hyderabad Police confirmed his arrest during a press conference. While five people were arrested for drug peddling, Aman was among 13 individuals arrested for consuming drugs and testing positive for cocaine use. He will be presented before a court soon.

A police official stated, ‘I will only comment on Aman’s connections once we investigate further. We need to determine when his association with the accused, who include some Indians and Nigerians, began. Some are repeat offenders. We believe his involvement may have lasted for a year and a half. Aman tested positive for using cocaine. He confirmed his occupation as an actor but did not specify whether it is in Tollywood or elsewhere.’

Previously, Rakul Preet Singh was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in an alleged money laundering case linked to a drug case. However, police clarified, ‘She has nothing to do with this case. We are not investigating her, and her name should not be dragged in unnecessarily, so we will not comment on it.’
