‘Raksha Bandhan’ trailer out: Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s film is an ode to brother-sister bond

‘Raksha Bandhan’ film trailer: The much-awaited trailer of ‘Raksha Bandhan,’ starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar has finally been unveiled. The comedy-drama revolves around a brother who wishes to get his four sisters married before tying the knot with his childhood love. The film showcases the love and unbreakable bond between the siblings and addresses the issue of dowry.

Sadia Khateeb, Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna and Smrithi Srikanth portray the role of Akshay’s sisters in the film.

‘Raksha Bandhan’ has been directed by Aanand L Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon.

Produced by Zee Studios, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on August 11, 2022. It will clash with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ at the box office.
