Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer 'Badhaai Do' gets a release date

'Badhaai Do' starring Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar has a release date. Directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni, the quirky family drama is all set to hit the theatres on February 4, 2022.

'Badhaai Do' is a sequel to the National Award winning comedy drama, 'Badhaai Ho' which started Ayushmann Khurrana. In the film, where Rajkummar Rao plays the role of a Delhi cop named Shardul, who is the only male police officer in a mahila thana. Bhumi Pednekar essays the role of a PT teacher Sumi, who aspires to play handball for the country.

Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao had started shooting for 'Badhaai Do' in January 2021. Bhumi Pednekar had earlier posted photos from the sets of to announce that she had wrapped up the film’s shoot.

Bhumi Pednekar is currently working on her film 'Durgavati', while Rajkummar Rao has 'Roohi Afzana' in his kitty.
