Raj Kundra shares cryptic post after ED attaches his properties worth nearly ₹100 crore

Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra is amid a legal trouble yet again. The businessman has dropped a cryptic post a day after ED seized his properties in the money laundering case.

Raj Kundra’s cryptic post

Taking to his Instagram story, Raj Kundra shared a cryptic post on his Instagram story. His post featured a picture of a lion with the text, “Learning to stay calm when you feel disrespected is a different type of growth.” Along with the post, Kundra also added the background music of the film ‘Animal’.

His post is being seen as a response to the ED crackdown. On Thursday, the Enforcement Directorate attached properties worth ₹ 98 crore belonging to Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty. The action was taken in connection with a case linked to Bitcoin Ponzi scam.

Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s lawyer released an official statement, which read, “We shall follow the due process of law and take the necessary steps as prescribed under the provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act to protect the liberty and property of my clients. On the face of it, there is no prima facie case made out against my clients Mr Raj Kundra and Mrs Shilpa Shetty Kundra.”

As per the investigation so far, the accused collected approximately ₹ 6,600 crore in Bitcoins in 2017 by deceiving investors. ED has found that Raj Kundra received 285 Bitcoins from the mastermind and is currently in possession of the same. The current value of the Bitcoins in his possession is reportedly more than ₹ 150 crore.
