Priyanka Chopra to meet filmmakers Vishal Bhardwaj, Sanjay Leela Bhansali during her India trip: Report

Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas arrived in Mumbai in the wee hours of Tuesday morning and received a warm welcome from fans and paparrazi as she stepped out of the airport. This is the actor’s first trip to India after Covid-19 and she’s back home after almost three years.

The actor has a lot of commitments to fulfil during this trip at professional as well as personal front. A report by Pinkvilla says that Priyanka is all set to meet filmmakers Vishal Bhardwaj and Sanjay Leela Bhansali and is likely to collaborate with them.

A source told the publication that ‘Priyanka’s association with Vishal Bhardwaj and Sanjay Leela Bhansali goes back a long way, and they have been meaning to collaborate for another project for a long time now. The directors have also shared a few ideas and stories with Priyanka, and she will be meeting them during this trip to take the conversations forward. However, this isn’t a very long trip and her plan is to accommodate as much as she can during this visit.’

PeeCee has earlier worked with both the filmmakers. She was featured in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’, and made a cameo appearance in ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela'. She has also worked with Vishal in the films ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ and ‘Kaminey’.

After reaching home, Priyanka shared a series of stories on Instagram in which she is seen bingeing on lots and lots of Cheetos and watching Karan Johar’s popular chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ because she was ‘jetlagged’.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra has a number of projects in the pipeline, including ‘Text For You’, ‘Citadel’, ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, ‘It’s All Coming Back to Me’ and ‘Ending Things’.
