Priyanka Chopra praises Pakistan’s Oscar hopeful 'Joyland'; attends 'RRR' screening with SS Rajamouli

Actor, Priyanka Chopra, who's now a global superstar after working in multiple Hollywood films, recently attended a screening of 'RRR' and came out in support of the Pakistani movie 'Joyland', which has been shortlisted in the Best International Feature category at the Oscars.

Priyanka took to Instagram and shared a clip of 'Joyland' on her story and wrote 'Joyland is truly a joy to watch. Bravo to the entire team for bringing this story to life. It’s a must watch.' Joyland’s team also reacted to Priyanka’s post and thanked her for her support.

Priyanka also shared a photo featuring her at a screening of 'RRR' in the US. She later shared a photo with filmmaker SS Rajamouli and composer MM Keeravani and congratulated the team, writing, 'Least I can do to contribute to this incredible Indian film’s journey. Good luck and congratulations to the team.'

'RRR' recently picked up a Golden Globe, and two Critics Choice Awards (for Best Original Song and Best Foreign Film) while, 'Joyland' became the first-ever Pakistani feature film to have made the Oscars’ shortlist cut.
