Priyanka Chahar Choudhary to star in Shah Rukh Khan’s 'Dunki'? Here's how she reacted

'Bigg Boss 16' finalist Priyanka Chahar Choudhary made headlines for her stint in the controversial reality show. Recently, reports of her bagging a role in Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' were doing the rounds. Now, the 'Udaariyaan' star has addressed these rumours.

In an exclusive conversation with indianexpress.com, she said, 'Honestly, we have been locked inside for the last four months so I didn’t even know about SRK’s film Dunki. It’s now while speaking to the media that I am hearing about it.'

She added, 'I had no idea and I haven’t even had time to talk to my team. But oh my god, if it’s true I am overjoyed. I had never thought I would get something like this.'

When asked if she will be taking a break from Television for her debut in Bollywood, Priyanka said, 'Not at all, TV has given me a lot and I can never think about quitting it. If there are good projects as everyone is talking about, I would definitely love to work on them but will never quit working on TV.'

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary was declared as the third runner-up of Salman Khan hosted 'Bigg Boss 16' on February 12.
