Parineeti disclosed her commitment to the role, mentioning a weight gain of 15 kilos achieved through six months of singing sessions in AR Rahman's studio while indulging in a diet rich in junk food.

In a heartfelt caption accompanying her gym workout video, Parineeti reminisced about her time in the studio, expressing a longing for those days.

She conveyed her current endeavor to reclaim her usual self after the completion of filming, emphasizing her dedication to shedding the extra weight and getting back into shape, away from the physical attributes of her on-screen character.

Determined to honor the essence of the role, she acknowledged the challenges of the transformation, pledging her efforts to director Imtiaz Ali and the character she portrayed.

The film's anticipation surged earlier with Netflix unveiling Diljit Dosanjh's first look as Amar Singh Chamkila, generating excitement among fans.

The streaming platform teased the untold story of Punjab's legendary artist, hinting at the imminent release of this much-awaited biopic.

Parineeti's previous venture was in the survival drama 'Mission Raniganj' opposite Akshay Kumar, prior to her marriage to Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha in a lavish Udaipur ceremony in September.
