      American actor-dancer Lauren Gottlieb, who was a runner-up in the sixth season of ‘Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa’, has announced that she will be performing on the song 'Naatu Naatu’ at the Oscars 2023 event. ‘Naatu Naatu’ has been nominated at the 95th Academy Awards for Best Original Song.

      Lauren shared the photos to announce this special news in which she is seen posing in front of Los Angeles' iconic Hollywood Sign. She wrote in the caption, ‘SPECIAL NEWS!!! I’m performing on Naatu Naatu at the OSCARS!!!!!! I’m beyond excited to represent India on the most prestigious stage in the world. Wish me luck!!!’

      She also shared a video of her dance practice for the Oscars.

      As soon as the news was shared, several fans and celebrities took to the comment section to congratulate her. Singer-musician Vishal Dadlani wrote, ‘Whoa Lauren Gottlieb! That's big!’

      Recently, Jr NTR said in an interview that he and Ram will not dance to ‘Naatu Naatu’ at the Oscars event. He added that MM Keeravani, Rahul Sipligunj, and Kaala Bhairava will be performing the track live.

      For the unversed, the 95th edition of the Academy Awards will take place on Monday, March 13 (according to Indian time). The event will be streamed on Disney + Hotstar from 5.30 am on Monday. Three Indian films, ‘RRR’, ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ and ‘All That Breathes’ are nominated this year. Actor Deepika Padukone will represent India as a presenter.
