Netizens are enchanted as Mumtaz teaches Asha Bhosle dance steps to 70s hit ‘Koi Sehri Babu’ | Watch

The internet witnessed timeless elegance as legendary singer Asha Bhosle and iconic actor Mumtaz joyfully danced to their 70’s hit song ‘Koi Sehri Babu Dil Lehri Babu’ from the 1973 film ‘Loafer.

The viral clip showcased Mumtaz in a striking traditional golden and black salwar kameez, sporting her signature half high-ponytail, dancing passionately to her timeless track ‘Koi Sehri Babu Dil Lehri Babu.’

Asha Bhosle, adorned in a resplendent white saree, joined Mumtaz in the dance at a get-together party.

Mumtaz was seen guiding Bhosle through the steps, while Asha's voice graced the iconic song composed by the legendary duo Laxmikant Pyarelal.

In 1973, the film ‘Loafer,’ directed by A. Bhimsingh, featured Dharmendra and Mumtaz in leading roles, with Om Prakash, Premnath, and K.N. Singh in pivotal roles.

A box office success, it ranked 7th among the top-grossing films that year.

Apart from the iconic ‘Koi Sehri Babu Dil Lehri Babu,’ the movie included other timeless tracks like ‘Aaj Mausam Bada Be-Imaan,’ ‘Main Tere Ishq Mein,’ and ‘Motiyon Ki Ladi Hoon Main,’ which became cult classics.

For her 90th birthday on September 8, Asha Bhosle celebrated with a grand Broadway-style live show, featuring her iconic songs and dance moves.

In an interview with the Indian Express, she shared her passion for extraordinary endeavors, expressing, ‘I enjoy doing exceptional things. I chose to host a magnificent concert on my 90th birthday. I doubt if anyone else in the world has accomplished this.’
