'Mr & Mrs Mahi' song 'Roya Jab Tu': Janhvi Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao's emotional agony will move you to tears

Ahead of the big release, the makers of 'Mr and Mrs Mahi' have dropped a new song from the music album of the film. Titled, 'Roya Jab Tu', the reflective track sees Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar, the lead pair, going through a rough patch in their relationship. Capturing the heartbreak and pain of the couple, the romantic ballad offers a closer look into the emotional journey of Mr and Mrs Mahi'.

'Roya Jab Tu', sung by Vishal Mishra, has been penned by Vishal and Azeem Dayani. The song offers a glimpse into the challenges faced by Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor’s characters in their relationship, alongside the latter’s struggles in her cricketing career.

Talking about the song and what makes it special, Vishal said: “‘Roya Jab Tu’ is a comforting presence for the void in our hearts. It’s that soulful companion that stays with you and heals your sorrows. I hope the song reaches a vulnerable place in people’s hearts where nothing else can.”

About ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’

Directed by Sharan Sharma, ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ will hit the theatres on May 31. This is the second collaboration between Sharan Sharma and Janhvi Kapoor after ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’ and also Rajkumar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor who have earlier worked together in ‘Roohi’. The film is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
