'Mission Majnu' starring Sidharth Malhotra & Rashmika Mandanna to release in May 2022

'Mission Majnu' starring actor Sidharth Malhotra now has a release date. The spy drama is all set to hit the cinemas on May 13, next year.

South sensation Rashmika Mandanna will make her Bollywood debut with 'Mission Majnu', and ever since this fresh pairing has been announced, fans are eagerly waiting to watch their chemistry on the silver screen.

The India-Pakistan conflict has been a blueprint for several Bollywood movies. 'Mission Majnu' is set in the 1970s, against the same backdrop. The film is inspired by real events and follows the story of India’s most courageous mission in the heart of Pakistan that forever changed the relationship between the two nations.

36-year-old Sidharth Malhotra will be seen playing the role of a RAW agent. Fans will get to see him in a whole different avatar, wearing soorma and a pathani suit. Sidharth reportedly also had to work on getting the Urdu accent right.
