'Mili': Janhvi Kapoor on her film clashing with rumoured ex-boyfriend Ishaan Khatter's 'Phone Bhoot'

Actor Janhvi Kapoor’s film 'Mili' released in theatres on November 4 along with Ishaan Khatter’s ‘Phone Bhoot’. She recently opened up about the box-office clash of her film with Ishaan Khatter’s movie. Speaking with News18.com, the 'Roohi' actor said that she has seen the trailer of ‘Phone Bhoot’ and it looks like a lot of fun. She said that she spoke with Ishaan briefly when he was about to sign the film.

‘I know a little bit about it, and it sounds like a very exciting premise,' she said.

Janhvi further added that her 'Dhadak' co-star has messaged her to wish her luck for the film and she has wished him back.

'Ishaan messaged me recently wishing me luck for Mili and I wished him back saying, Right back at you! I think there was an undercurrent of competitiveness . I’m just kidding! We really wish the best for each other dil se. We started out together. A part of us will always root for each other,' she concluded.

Ishaan and Janhvi were reportedly dating during the shoot of their movie ‘Dhadak’. But later on, they called it quits for reasons that remain unknown.

'Mili', directed by Mathukutty Xavier, also stars Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa.

This is Janhvi’s first film with her father Boney Kapoor, who is the producer of her movie.

On the work front, after 'Mili', Janhvi has Nitesh Tiwari’s 'Bawaal', co-starring Varun Dhawan, and 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi' along with Rajkummar Rao.
