Mike Tyson, Vijay Deverakonda in one frame, stars begin US schedule of 'Liger’

It's finally happening! Dharma Productions shared the first on-set photo of Vijay Deverakonda and boxing legend Mike Tyson, as the duo start shooting for the US schedule of their upcoming film 'Liger'.

The upcoming sports drama feature is being directed by Puri Jagannath, who is also producing the movie along with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

In 'Liger', Vijay Deverakonda plays a boxer, but the makers haven’t shared details about Mike Tyson's role. The two stars will reportedly have a face-off in the ring.
An excited Deverakonda, said shooting with the boxing icon will make the film forever special to him.

Mike Tyson, one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time, has been part of movies like Hollywood hit “The Hangover”, its 2011 sequel “The Hangover Part II”, in which he played a fictionalised version of himself. He is making his Bollywood debut with “Liger”.

Also featuring Ananya Panday, 'Liger' will be released theatrically in five languages--Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
