‘Merry Christmas’: Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi starrer gets a release date; see new poster

Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi starrer ‘Merry Christmas’ is all set to release in theatres on December 15, 2023.

The makers shared the release date on July 17 along with the film’s new poster.

Sharing the poster, the makers wrote, ‘We decided to cut short the wait for the Christmas cheer! #MerryChristmas releasing in theatres near you ON 15th DECEMBER 2023.’

‘Merry Christmas’ is directed by Sriram Raghavan, who had earlier helmed films like ‘Andhadhun’ and ‘Badlapur’.

The movie has been shot in two languages, with different supporting actors.

The Hindi version co-stars Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand, while the Tamil version has Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams in the same roles.

‘Merry Christmas’ also introduces Pari, a child actor. Ashwini Kalsekar and Radhika Apte will be seen in cameo roles.

The first poster of ‘Merry Christmas’ was revealed on December 24, 2022.

‘Merry Christmas’ has been produced by Ramesh Taurani & Jaya Taurani; Sanjay Routray & Kewal Garg.

It is a collaboration that combines the vision and expertise of two esteemed production houses, Tips Films and Matchbox Pictures.
