Meghna Gulzar’s 50th birthday: Vicky Kaushal drops special video to wish ‘Sam Bahadur’ director

Renowned filmmaker Meghna Gulzar is celebrating her 50th birthday and on the occasion, many celebrities have extended their best wishes to her on social media.

Meghna’s ‘Sam Bahadur’ lead star Vicky Kaushal dropped a special video on Instagram to wish his ‘sweetie’. Sharing the video, he wrote, “Here’s a little birthday dance with you Meghna… wish I could do it in person today! Every day on set I’d try to be the most hard-working person and every day you’d beat me and everybody else to it. Will keep trying though… Happy Happy Birthday Sweetie… may you always keep inspiring people around you to give their absolute best!!! @meghnagulzar.”

Meghna reacted to the post and wrote, “You,” with a heart emoji.

In the heartwarming behind-the-scenes video from their film ‘Sam Bahadur’, Vicky was seen dressed as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, performing a slow waltz with Meghna.

Despite facing tough competition from Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Animal', Meghna’s 'Sam Bahadur' has held its ground in the box office battle.

As the film enters its second week, it continues to maintain a steady run at the box office. The film’s total collection after twelve days stands at Rs 61.10 crore.

'Sam Bahadur' is the biopic of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, who was one of independent India’s greatest soldiers. The movie also stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles.
