‘Love Sex aur Dhokha 2’: Ekta Kapoor shares poster of next production; announces release date

Ekta Kapoor took to social media on July 7 to unveil the poster of her next production 'Love Sex aur Dhokha 2'.

The poster hints that the movie will revolve around social media addiction among other issues.

The poster shows a man snorting Facebook likes with a roll of money. Sharing the poster, Ektaa wrote, ‘Who needs roses and chocolates when you can have likes and reposts? From Love in the times of Camera to Love in the times of the Internet.

On the Valentine’s 2024 weekend choose your poison: LOVE, SEX AUR DHOKHA! #LSD2 IN CINEMAS from 16th Feb 2024.’

Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa Kapoor. The details of the cast have not been revealed yet.

Directed by Dibakar Banerjee, the film will release in cinemas on February 16, 2024.
The film is likely to clash at the box office with Akshay Kumar's untitled film which is a remake of Soorarai Pottru.

Ekta and Dibakar announced the sequel of the film in 2021 but the film got delayed. Now, the makers are all set to begin the filming of the sequel soon.

Former ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia has reportedly been roped in as the leading lady of the sequel.

‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’ received rave reviews upon release in 2010. It starred actors Rajkummar Rao, Neha Chauhan, Anshuman Jha, and Nushrratt Bharuccha among others.
