‘Love Sex Aur Dhoka 2’ trailer out: Dibakar Banerjee presents love in digital era in its boldest form

Ektaa Kapoor and Dibakar Banerjee are ready with the sequel of their hit film ‘Love Sex Aur Dhoka’. The makers of the film unveiled its trailer on Friday and as promised in the teaser, it delivers a bolder than ever glimpse of love in the digital age.

The ‘Love Sex Aur Dhoka 2’ trailer shows the explicit and raw reality in the times of the internet where influencers and social media stars are the heroes of society. It shows a Bigg Boss kind of reality show, obsession with views, abuse and much more. The film follows the story of three individuals who go through different challenges, from love and betrayal to abuse and drama.

Several social media icons make appearances in the trailer as well to bring the raw reality of today’s digital generation. Mouni Roy, Swastika Mukherjee, Tushar Kapoor, Uorfi Javed and Anu Malik will also be seen in the film.

Dibakar Banerjee doesn’t shy away from showing the naked reality of views hungry generation where a contestant goes on to slap his mother for the TRP and a transgender goes through abuse and apathy.

Sharing the trailer of the film, the makers wrote in the caption, “Served HOT for the digital generation. Ek baar phir hoga Love Sex aur Dhokha!”

The sequel to ‘Love Sex Aur Dhoka’ is releasing almost 14 years after the OG film. Produced by Ektaa Kapoor and directed by Dibakar Banerjee, the film presents a modern take on love and relationship in the digital age. Bonita Rajpurohit, Paritosh Tiwari and Abhinav Singh will be seen in the lead roles in film. The film is set to be released on April 19, 2024.
